INSTALLING THE DRAIN PLUMBING
Drain Plumbing
Your ice machine uses a gravity drain (Figure 4) that requires
5/8” inside diameter (I.D.) tubing from the back of the ice
machine to a plumbed connecon to a sanitary sewer. Remove
the access panel to plumb in drain connecon. Gravity drain
locaon for built-in units can be within the area shown in Figure
6. An oponal drain pump (Figure 5) can be purchased for your
ice machine if a gravity drain is not accessible. See page 6 for
oponal drain pump installaon.
Observe and follow all local codes when installing ice machine.

Do not splash or spray water from a hose on the ice ma-
chine. Doing so may cause an electrical shock, which may
result in severe injury or death.
This unit should not, under any circumstances, be installed
to an un-grounded electrical supply.
Grounding Method
This product is factory equipped with a power supply cord that
has a three-pronged, grounded plug. It must be plugged into a
mang grounding type receptacle in accordance with the Na-
onal Electrical Code and applicable local codes and ordinances
(see Figure 3). If the circuit does not have a grounding type re-
ceptacle, it is the responsibility and obligaon of the customer to
provide the proper power supply. The third ground prong should
not, under any circumstances, be cut or removed.
Electrical Connecon
A 115 volt, 15 amp dedicated circuit is required. A 3 prong
grounded receptacle is required.
The unit must be installed according to your local building codes
and ordinances.
Do not use an extension cord with
this appliance.
